Tax Holiday Dates: August 7, 8, and 9...

The State of Missouri offers a tax holiday held every year during the first weekend of August. During this time, you can save state sales tax on computer equipment bought in the state of Missouri. At UMKC, you will save all sales tax on this weekend.

If you would like RooTech to hold a computer for you until August, just let us know by selecting the appropriate option when placing your order online. Keep in mind that you will not be able to get your computer until the first weekend of August at the earliest. By law, we will have to ring the computer through our registers on that weekend, we can then ship your computer to you, or hold it until you're ready to pick it up (even if that means when the semester starts). It's completely up to you.
